Anne Frank Vocabulary 1

Conspicuous- Easily seen or noticed; readily visible or observable.
Loathe- To feel disgusted or intense hate; dislike of someone or something.
Vile- Highly offensive, unpleasant, or objectionable- repulsive or disgusting. 
Indignantly- Feeling- angered by something mean, unjust, or unworthy.
Wallow- To roll about; to indulge in or take great pleasure and delight in.


Anne Frank Vocabulary 2

Zeal- Great enthusiasm; a devotion to a cause, an ideal, or a goal.
Oppression- The act of keeping someone down through harsh and unjust use of power; the feeling of being heavily weighed down; either mentally or physically. 
Jubilation- Rejoicing; a celebration or expression of joy.
Ostentatiously- With great show or exaggeration.
Appalled- Horrified; shocked.

Disgruntled- Displeased and irritated
Inarticulate- Speechless; unable to speak effectively or understandably
Foreboding- A feeling of something, especially bad or harmful, is about to happen
Pandemonium- Wild confusion and noise; an uproar
Remorse- A bitter regret or guilt after having done wrong
